 Prompt: The best gift I have received is my new Xbox. I really wanted to get it and my parents knew how happy it would make me. For a few months I used it for almost 6-7 hours a day. I was able to play a lot of games with my friends and make a lot of memories. I am very appreciative of it and love to use it. I still use it a lot and will continue to for a long time.

Summary: We did a quiz on our vocabulary and learned about formal and informal language.

Reflection: I learned when to use formal language and when to use informal language.

 Prompt: One moment when I had to step out of my comfort zone was during a class presentation. I had always been nervous about speaking in front of people, but this time I volunteered to go first. My hands were shaking, but I took a deep breath and focused on what I had practiced. As I spoke, I started to feel more confident and noticed my classmates paying attention.  Prompt: I once had to tell my friend that I needed space to focus on schoolwork. We used to hang out every day, but my grades were starting to drop.
