Which learning method do you enjoy the most? Class discussions, worksheet work, or hands-on actvities. Select one and tell why.

Prompt: I enjoy hands-on activities the most. I think I learn better when I am doing something that requires me to use multiple parts of my brain and almost critical thinking skills. I find that the information sticks with me better. It allows my brain to have a cue for each topic to go back and remember. It is a situation where I think and then think back to that activity and remember the information. This works better than all of the other methods listed.

Summary: Today we made our poetry posters.

Reflection: I learned how to analyze a poem I made myself.

Prompt: Both poems by Robert Frost explore the passage of time and life’s changing moments. Write about a time when something in your life changed more quickly than you expected. How does this experience connect to Frost’s idea that “Nothing gold can stay”?

Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

Prompt: In the poem, the speaker and his neighbor meet each year to repair a wall. Describe a time when you had to set or respect a boundary with a friend, family member, or classmate. How did it help or hurt your connection with that person?
